Purging the Pump and the System for Frozin 400 Cold Plunge

Step-by-Step

   Check the water level

   Make sure the tub is filled above the inlet and outlet ports so the pump has a steady supply of water.

   Open the purge valve

   Locate the air-release valve on the filter housing or chiller and open it slightly so trapped air can escape.

   Run the pump

   Power on the chiller pump and let water push through the lines; you will hear sputtering as air works its way out.

   Bleed until steady

   Watch the return line into the tub. Once water flows in a steady stream with no bubbles, close the purge valve.

   Confirm circulation

   Let the system run a few minutes and check the flow and all connections for leaks before setting your temperature.
